Common Good First goes to Brussels

At the end of January 2018, Common Good First’s project co-ordinator, Julie Adair, was invited to close the meeting of a gathering of Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education grantholders.

Julie introduced CGF and its partners in Europe and South Africa and shared insights about the project as it approaches its 18-month point. Part of her talk touched on the technologies used to aide long-distance communication between partners, including Slack, Appear.in and Zoom. Julie also reported on the success of partners bringing snacks from their own countries to Consortium meetings and introduced her audience to biltong, liquorice, hardfisk and caramel wafers.
